Here's a project with a difference.

The Hypersonic demo is provided as an SX2 project file. I have edited it
to removed the Hypersonic references. Also included is an MP3 of the
original audio project audio.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create a version
using only free VSTi's and plug-ins.

To Hypersonic's credit, the whole tune is created using one instance of
the VSTi.

What about FX etc can we use the VST bundled ones??

LOL You gotta love it! If you, or anyone else, has suggestions for
decent free VSTis, then please post a note on the forum thread for the
project.

Yup, as long as folk can easily replicate what you do. Usually we upload
audio, but in this case, I want to stick to the MIDI in the Project
file. Don't let that stop you creating whatever you want, and possibly
starting a collab of your own, though :-)

musical genre....this sounds like some shite themetune to a soccer
program...nah - better still snooker or wrestling....for f***'s sake
this is an awful advertisement for Hypersonic...No dis-respect, but
I've got better things to do with my freeware vsti's and plug-ins...LL

Ah the positive world of Cubase. If ever I feel down, I know where I can
get a lift ;-)

It's not an ad' for Hypersonic. Kinda the reverse, actually. S- are
asking $399 for HS, and I wonder was wondering whether what it can do
can be just as easily achieved for free.

"BUY HYPERSONIC: IT COSTS £399, BUT WHAT IT DOES CAN BE DONE FOR $0."

That'll have them queuing at the tills.

But hey, if it's not your idea of fun, then that's just fine. No one is
holding a gun to your head, or even a pointy stick. If collaboration
isn't your thing, that's cool.
