hello, i'm a happy user of cubase sx 3. I'm using it to compose via
midi-vsti and i'm using mostly freeware vstis...

my question is: is it possible somehow to make the vstis play with the
central A tuned to 432hz instead of the standard 440hz?

I still haven't found a question... it's a shame because for example
in Reason it's sooo easy, just a matter of setting a slider in the
preferences...

any ideas?

cheers

That would be a function of the individual VST instruments. For
instance, Kontakt and Sampletank have "master tuning" or "fine tuning"
settings. It is the same with outboard synthesizers.

yes it's right, go in each instrument tuning and decrease the fine
control by 8hz
anyway i reckon ther's a midi plugstaff with different tunings, scales,
that maybe can work as well, dunno whether it works on vstinst or
not...check it.
